MESADORM

Faber Alt. are pleased to announce our latest signing, Mesadorm

Mesadorm are an indie electronica outfit fronted by Blythe Pepino, the ex-lead singer of London Art Pop trio Vaults. Vaults had huge success with their single ‘One Last Night’ which featured on the motion picture soundtrack for Fifty Shades of Grey. Their cover of Randy Crawford’s ‘One Day I’ll Fly Away’ featured on the 2016 John Lewis Christmas advert and Pepino also featured on the hugely successful Gorgon City track ‘All Four Walls’.

Formed in Bristol in 2015 by 5 long term friends, each member of Mesadorm is a high calibre performer and writer, facilitating an array of musical concepts and timbres within the emotional landscape of Pepino's lyrics. Mesadorm draw influence from late 60s and early 70s folk and popular music such as that of Carole King, Neil Young and Joni Mitchell, as well as electronic acts like Björk, Portishead, Caribou, Grizzly Bear and Sylvan Esso. The band are comprised of Blythe Pepino (Keys/Vocals), Aaron Zahl (Guitars/Keys/Bvs), Jo Silverston (Cello/Keys/Bvs), David Johnston (Bass/Keys/Bvs) and Daisy Palmer (Drums/BVS).

Their singles 'Yours and Not Yours' and 'Easy' have both received radio play by Huw Stephens on BBC Radio 1, as well as BBC Radio 6.

Their debut album Heterogaster will be released on the 11th May and the band will be touring it throughout the UK.
