Anna Meredith Announces New Album 'FIBS'

Scottish composer, producer and performer Anna Meredith, who was recently awarded an MBE for her services to Music, has announced her eagerly anticipated second studio album ‘FIBS’.

Meredith explains that FIBS is built on "lies — but nice friendly lies, little stories and constructions and daydreams and narratives that you make for yourself or you tell yourself."

‘FIBS’ follows Anna Meredith’s critically acclaimed debut album ‘Varmints’ which was named Scottish Album of the Year in 2016. In the period between the two records, Anna scored Bo Burnham’s coming-of-age feature film ‘Eighth Grade’. Furthermore her BBC Proms commission ‘Five Telegrams’ opened the 2018 BBC Proms season, accompanied by spectacular visuals projected onto the outside of the Royal Albert Hall.

FIBS will be released on the 25th October 2019 via Moshi Moshi Records.

To mark the announcement, Anna has released new single Paramour. Listen below.
